Participants are encouraged to have their videos on, and to contribute to the dialogue. We will explore different principles and methods in order to refine our “approach.” One does not require a background in Ayurveda, though are encouraged to brush up on some foundational topics (five elements, doshas, vayus, channels and chakras). If this is new terminology for you, it will all be covered in the Anatomy of Respiration and Pranayama class with Kendra the week prior).

This online meeting suits the need of continuing education for committed practitioners and yoga educators.

If you haven’t already, we aim to facilitate an in-depth grasp of ‘classical’ pranayama following yoga-sutra methodology, Hatha Yoga pranayama, breath and energy practices in the context of meditation.

These insights are drawn from over two decades of practice and teaching of Yoga, Asian medicine and mindbody disciplines. Some have raised interest in discussing applications - e.g. anxiety, depression, trauma and how traditional theories and practices contribute to healing amidst this global health crisis.

Join us. We benefit from many voices in this dialogue.
