Sistermoon Wellness is partnering with Green Source Missoula to offer a 3 day mono diet and daily yoga practice.

Monday-Wednesday nights, join Kendra Potter for a donation based led yoga practice in Green Source, and pick up your food for the next day! The practices will be sequenced for digestive well being and lymphatic drainage, and are open to all levels.

Kitchari is an ayurvedic superfood consisting of mung beans, rice, and spices specifically designed to warm and soothe the digestive tract. It is a perfect meal to eat during a winter reset, as it is wholly nourishing, delicious, and simple. Ayurveda recommends warm, cooked foods in this season, and Green Source has offered to prepare this dish for us for only $5/bowl. A mono diet is exactly what it sounds like: the same meal all day. It means you do not have to limit your caloric intake in order to reset your palate. When we eat sugar, as well as other addictive substances such as caffeine and alcohol, our body almost immediately asks for more. A mono diet gives our body an opportunity to balance itself out so that we can separate the cravings from the hunger pangs. We eat enough to nourish, but the food is all nutritious. It’s a great way to reset at a season change or to mark a shift like the new year.
